If Time Travel isn't possible with a time machine, due to the amount of energy needed to travel forwards never mind backwards, then the only alternative is to use future computers. With these computers we could make virtual worlds of our own but if this would be possible in the future, then a billion virtual worlds could be made, so in which one do we live in right now - billion to one its not the real one.
